Can I pick the same digit three times (e.g. 7-7-7)?
Yes, triple digits are valid Swertres combinations. Since there's only one arrangement, a Rambolito play on a triple is effectively the same as a straight play — the prize stays at ₱4,500.
How long do I have to claim a Swertres prize?

Swertres (3D) is PCSO's most popular daily game. Pick three digits from 0–9 and match them in the exact order drawn to win the fixed ₱4,500 first prize on a ₱10 play. A Rambolito (any-order) play on the same three digits wins ₱750 or ₱1,500 depending on whether the digits repeat.
It draws three times a day — at 2:00 PM, 5:00 PM, and 9:00 PM Philippine time, including most holidays (no draws on 1 January and during parts of Holy Week) — which is why "today" and "yesterday" are the two questions players actually ask. There's a new result to check every few hours.
With 1,000 possible combinations (000 to 999), the odds of hitting Swertres straight are 1 in 1,000 per draw. That makes it by far the most winnable PCSO game, and combined with three draws per day, it's why Swertres accounts for a significant portion of all PCSO ticket sales. The expected return per ₱10 straight play is ₱4.50 (45%), which is typical for lottery products. Rambolito trades a lower prize for better odds, but the expected return stays roughly the same — the house edge is built into the fixed prizes, not the play type.
