How EZ2 Works

EZ2 (2D) is PCSO's fastest, cheapest game. Pick two numbers from 1–31 and match both in exact order to win the fixed ₱4,000 first prize on a ₱10 play. There's no Rambolito option — it's straight or nothing, which keeps the mechanics dead simple.

Like Swertres, it draws three times daily at 2:00 PM, 5:00 PM, and 9:00 PM Philippine time, so most players are checking either the most recent draw or comparing against yesterday's results.

With numbers drawn from 1 to 31, there are 961 possible combinations (31 × 31), making the odds 1 in 961 — slightly better than Swertres's 1 in 1,000. Each number is drawn independently, so repeats (like 15-15) are possible and do occur.

Frequently Asked Questions

What time is the EZ2 draw?

EZ2 (2D) draws three times daily — 2:00 PM, 5:00 PM, and 9:00 PM, Philippine time, every day including holidays.

How much does an EZ2 ticket cost and what does it pay?

A ₱10 minimum play pays a fixed ₱4,000 first prize for matching both numbers in exact order. Like Swertres, you can increase the bet for a proportionally larger prize.

Can numbers repeat in EZ2?

Yes — both numbers are drawn independently from 1–31, so a result like 15-15 is possible and does happen regularly.

What is the number range for EZ2?

Both numbers are drawn from 1 to 31. This is different from Swertres which uses 0–9. The range 1–31 gives 961 possible ordered combinations (31 × 31).

Is there a Rambolito option for EZ2?

No. EZ2 is strictly an exact-order game. You must match both numbers in the same order they were drawn. This is the key difference from Swertres, which offers a Rambolito (any-order) option.

Are EZ2 and Swertres drawn together?

They draw at the same times (2PM, 5PM, 9PM) and are sold at the same outlets, but they are completely separate games with their own independent draws. Buying one does not include the other.

How long do I have to claim an EZ2 prize?

One year from the draw date. Prizes of ₱10,000 and below can be claimed at any authorized lotto outlet. See our prize claiming guide for details.

Where can I find past EZ2 results?

EZ2 Odds & Prize Tiers

Play TypeHow It WorksOddsPrize (₱10 bet)
Straight (exact order)Match both numbers in exact order drawn1 in 961₱4,000

EZ2 is the only PCSO game with just one play type. The expected return per ₱10 play is ₱4.16 (41.6%). No Rambolito, no consolation prizes — you either match both numbers in order or you don't. This simplicity is what makes it popular with first-time lottery players.

EZ2 Tips for Players

  • Understand the number range. EZ2 draws from 1–31 (not 0–9 like Swertres), so double-digit numbers are the norm, not the exception. The range gives you 961 combinations.
  • Don't confuse it with Swertres. EZ2 and Swertres draw at the same times, from the same outlets, but they're separate games with different mechanics. Make sure you're checking the right result.
  • There's no any-order option. Unlike Swertres's Rambolito, EZ2 is strictly exact order. If the draw is 08-23, then 23-08 does not win.
  • Combine with Swertres for coverage. Many daily players buy one of each — a ₱10 EZ2 and a ₱10 Swertres — for ₱20 total per draw, covering two games with independent chances.

Number Frequency Distribution

How PCSO Lotto Number Frequency Analysis Works

Frequency analysis tracks how often each number appears in recent PCSO lotto draws. Numbers that appear more often than average are called "hot numbers" (masipag), while numbers that rarely appear are "cold numbers" (kalmado). This data is computed from actual draw results stored in our database — not estimates or predictions.

Some players prefer picking hot numbers, believing momentum carries forward. Others choose cold numbers, expecting them to be "due." Neither strategy changes the mathematical odds — every number has an equal probability each draw — but frequency data helps you make informed, data-driven picks rather than relying on guesswork.

Our analysis updates automatically after each PCSO draw. Select any game and time range above to see the most current frequency distribution. The bar chart shows every possible number and how many times it appeared, while the hot/cold panels highlight the extremes.

Understanding the Jackpot Trend Chart

For 6-number lotto games (6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55, 6/58), the jackpot trend chart shows how the prize pool has moved over your selected time range. When no one wins, the jackpot rolls over and grows — creating the dramatic upward slopes you'll often see.

Sharp drops indicate a jackpot was won and the prize reset to its guaranteed minimum. These patterns help you spot the current cycle: is the jackpot building toward a peak, or has it just reset? While timing your play doesn't change your odds of winning, many players prefer to buy tickets when jackpots are higher to maximize the potential return.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Are hot numbers more likely to win?
No. Each draw is independent — past results don't influence future ones. Hot/cold analysis is a tool for informed picking, not a prediction system.

Q: How far back does the data go?
Free analysis covers the last 30 draws (~1 month). For deeper analysis covering 60, 90 draws, or a custom date range, upgrade to Premium in the Kuyacoco app.

Q: Why do some numbers appear way more than others?
In small samples (7–30 draws), variance is normal. Over hundreds of draws, frequencies tend to even out. That's basic probability at work — streaks and droughts are expected, not anomalies.

Q: Does Kuyacoco predict winning numbers?
No. We provide historical data and statistical tools so you can analyze patterns yourself. No one can reliably predict random lottery outcomes.

Q: What's the difference between website and app statistics?
The website offers free monthly frequency analysis. The Kuyacoco app adds extended date ranges, a draw simulator, number-vs-history checker, and a lucky number generator with multiple strategies.
